Summary
This CD-ROM provides the most complete biographical database on the nearly 5,800 boys and men who attended American colleges through the Class of 1774, the last to graduate before the Revolutionary War. It includes the full text of all the sketches in the 18 volumes of Sibley's Harvard Graduates, as well as all the entries through the Class of 1774 in Franklin Bowditch Dexter's Biographical Sketches of the Graduates of Yale College, and James McLachlan et al., Princetonians. Additional entries cover all colonial graduates, and most colonial non-graduates, of Brown University, Columbia Medical School, Columbia University, Dartmouth College, Rutgers University, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Pennsylvania Medical School, the College of William and Mary, and William Tennent's Log College
